More than sixty participants of different age group including fourteen (14) students from the madrasa Tajweedul Qur’an, were present in this event.
Shri. Imtiyaz Kondkari, president of the KVC explained the significance of skill training, vocational education and entrepreneurship from a young age for sustainable livelihoods.
Shri V.A. Tanawade, director of Shreay Technology & Entrepreneurship Skills Solutions Pvt. Ltd., briefed the participants on need and objectives of “Entrepreneurship Development Program”. “The concept of entrepreneurship development program involves equipping a person with the required skills and knowledge needed for starting and running the enterprise”, Shri Tanawade said.
Shri Kazmi Shaikh of Super Services Appliances Solutions, gave the presentation and discussed about the tools and basic mechanical knowledge needed to install, maintain and repair washing machine, refrigerator, air-conditioner, microwave oven and coolers.
Around twenty five (25) boys from Navi Mumbai and Thane district, including 14 madrasa students of the age above 18, were selected for the six months diploma in “Appliance Repair Technician Training” and will be sponsored by Kokni Vyapari Welfare Association, Navi Mumbai.
The program conveners, Shri. Gufran Chorghay thanked all the participants for attending, as well as, for their valuable contribution to make the workshop a success.
The workshop was jointly organized by Anjuman Khairul-Islam Trust, Koparkhairne and Kokni Vyapari Welfare Association, Navi Mumbai.
